What's your favorite scene?

Just recently saw this film and liked it a lot.

My fave scenes would have to be when Takeshi was looking at his father's footages. The other one would have to be the ending where he and the girl both ride on his motorcycle - it just makes me giddy and happy and sad all at thesame time.

When the killer's assistent (Michele Reis) is listening to the music on the jukebox. Such slowly paced, warm and erotic.

The end scene is pretty hard to beat.............but there is this one very short scene early on in the film. Its just a shot of Michelle looking at the camera, i think its around the scene with all the quick cuts as she walks up the escelator, checks the post office box from memory. I'll have to watch it again. her look is so sultry, its slow motion, and perhaps my single most favourite shot of a woman in film.

Anyone know the scene im referring to?

That is really good. Not just the pacing but the gorgeous cinematography.

The closing scene for me... it's just so... ethereal.

Definitely the last scene with Takeshi Kaneshiro and Michelle Reis riding off together with the Flying Pickets playing in the backround. I loved it from the first time I saw it.

Just watched this movie, most heartbreaking scene was when Leon Lai walks Karen Mok home in the rain but doesn't go upstairs with her and she's crushed and says something like " If you see a girl walking around on the street and she has a beauty mark, that could be me" It's so sad because she doesn't want him to forget her again.

The ending scene blew me away because it contains so many different feelings.

The scenes where Takeshi forces ppl to do things. LOL

When the Agent is eating noodles and smoking a cigarette at the same time, right before eating the Mute. You can just taste the ashtray flavor ramen and feel the worn-through emotional wreckage she's experiencing, so numb she doesn't even notice the beat-down in the background.
