Isn't it really unsafe to take that much aspirin in six hours?

McClain has to have taken about 8 or 10 aspirin from 9am to 3pm. At least 4 in the police van, the same at police HQ a few minutes later, and doesn't he take it a third time?

Having nothing to do with the movie itself, wouldn't taking that much aspirin really mess you up in real life?

I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

Well on the back of every bottle of aspirin it says, take two aspirins every six hours. And not to exceed more than six pills within a 24 hour period.

Perhaps unsafe in the sense it might be too much for the liver, but seeing how much he was drinking he probably didn't give a damn about his liver.

As with everything, the dose makes the poison.

Were they 81 mg "baby" aspirins, 162 mg "mild" aspirins or standard-issue 325 mg "regular" aspirins?

It was a small running joke throughout the film, that he's still got a hang over and is constantly trying to find relief on this trying day.

Besides, can't be any worse for you than wearing an A-board in Harlem with those words on it.

If we wanted to insult you, we would have called you "Tubby Mushroomhead Man".

I've had hangovers. I've had migraines. I've had migraines and hangovers together. When you feel that lousy, worrying about the possible side effects of aspirin seems like nothing by comparison.

It could damage your liver, but I think that would be the least of the problems with John's liver.
