ha! i've had it on tape for a while...its really not that great..or at least as great as you'd think it would be...its more ehhh alright then anything else. Tarantino is only in the very beginning and then in the last 15 minutes or so. the rest is dylan mcdermott attempting to evade the cops while hiding out at this run down motel (complete with bobcat goldtwait and james le gros) and trying to win back the love of his life nancy travis (who's a lounge singer and married to the owner of said lounge---played by Jim Belushi!!!!! he gets to sing viva las vegas really briefly at one point.) and mcdermott and travis sort of heat things up again meanwhile the law is on mcdermott's tail.
throughout the film there are references to destiny, and luck, and if destiny played a hand in McDermott being arrested for the bank robbery that he's doing time for, or if destiny played a hand in him escaping from jail, or if destiny had any hand in him getting a lift to las vegas from a mysterious stranger played by Tarantino at the very beg of the film....
the answer to all three of those questions is yes by the way.
tarantino plays a character named Johnny Destiny who speaks in sentences like "ITs A Town Of Limitless Possibilities" while playing with his sunglasses and basically trying to strike a pose.
There's also a pool in the hotel where McDermott is hiding out that may or may not be a portal to an alternative reality...i think...it never really gets explained except to provide a very "mysterious" ending. this only really comes up in the last 15 minutes though, which is where tarantino comes back into the film with a secret of his own.
there i just explained the entire film. seriously. and its not even half as cool as i;m making it sound.
