OH ESAI ESAI ESAI

Why would you ever do a movie like this? So you thought this one would add a special sparkle and shine to your once great resume. Oh how you were wrong. So very, very wrong. Now look at yourself. Go look in the mirror right this instant and take a long look deep into your soul and know that the start of the end of your career began with this train wreck of bad taste cinema (or should I say TV). Shame on you sir...

Your Truly,
The Funkster

ps. this supposed to be a near-future film? come on now guys.......

reply

LOL, actors have to earn a paycheck. Actors do not live in an ethereal world where they can afford to wait for epic movies to come along. Big movies with high salaries do not come often. Good actors like Esai have to do films like these to earn a living.

reply

and do you earn a paycheck for sarcasm? oh, it appears you dont. you must just volunteer from time to time....

This film wasn't that bad.

And one film doesn't kill a career with the resume he already had.

I agree with the OP. This was bad. But not "so bad it's good", bad. Just bad! The plot was ridiculous because of the way they keep just escaping with hordes of police or bad guys around when they're practically moving in slo motion at times!! but this movie could have been much better had Peeples been a better actress. Morales wasn't that bad.

You have the right to remain silent because whatever you say will probably be stupid anyway!

Watch the original movie, because this [Deadlocked: Escape from Zone 14] is actually a made-for-TV remake of Wedlock (1991).
