WHAT????? No way in Hades was Nicholas Cage better in Leaving Las Vegas (hated that movie!) than Sean Penn in this movie. Seen most of Penn's movies and to me, this was by far his best performance!!!

shareNicholas Cage did do an amazing job in LLV. His acting of a man giving up everything to drink himself to death, was exactly what my father did. Ended up killing himself in the end, but as I watched the movie the accuracy of his portrayal was on point in every way. I witnessed it in real life. So to be fair I am biased. Though he did do an amazing job.
