Emotional notes didn't really hit till...

The last 30 minutes, 6/10 62/100 I know the development of Sean Penn's character was important to the film and it set up the emotional punch you feel during the last 30 minutes but I felt as if the film needed more throughout the first 3 quarter, good film but it wouldn't be in my top filns cause it just didn't have as much effect throughout. Still a good movie for the ending. Very much a tearjerker.
