Hey everybody! I just looked on HallmarkChannel.com and see that they will be showing "Daisies in December" at 8 a.m. and also at 12 a.m. (ET) on Tuesday, October 9, 2007!!! I am SO EXCITED to be able to share that with all of the fans of this movie!!! I will be watching and hope all of you will be able to also! ENJOY!!!

The Hallmark Movie Channel will be showing "Daisies in December" throughout this month(August 2008). You can check the appropriate time for airing on the Hallmark Channel - click the link for movie channel, and search by title for times. I noticed that on my Cablevision listing it is channel 193. This is different than the regular Hallmark Channel, so please take note.
Air dates are as follows:
August 11, 16, 21, 24, 26 and 30. This will be with commercials unfortunately, but it is still a film not to be missed. It did air this morning and I was unaware of this schedule, but did manage to catch the last 45 minutes. Hard to believe that is will be 13 years in December that it first was televised via Showtime in the United States. I could go on and on, but you must see this for yourself.
If you are used to seeing Joss Ackland in 'villainous' or mean spirited roles, e.g. Lethal Weapon 2, Citizen X, Hunt for Red October...you will be absolutely floored by his heartwarming performance. His rapport with Jean Simmons is fantastic.
Don't say you didn't have adequate notice to set those recording devices.

That's great news. This production continues to feel as fresh as the day it was filmed after 13 years (and, sadly, after some of the movie's actors have passed on).
Hallmark Movie Channel has allocated a full two-hours for the showing, so presumably it will be shown in full without interruption, as it was originally produced.
Unfortunately, there are very few cable systems/satellite TV providers that carry this premium channel. If you are among the many folks who can not receive Hallmark Movie Channel on your TV, drop me an email and I'll provide the latest information on when it will be shown on the OTHER Hallmark Channel.

Definitely not commercial-free and they also cut out a few scenes - unnecessarily, I feel. However, it's the only game in town so far and the film is not to be missed.
