Why no posts!?

I agree that Geoffrey Rush is a brilliant actor. In fact I think he's one the greatest actors alive, and any film he appears in is worth watching. He also received one of the most merited Academy Awards of all time, for his performance in "Shine," and he's gone on from strength to strength since then. Every subsequent performance of his has been faultless. He is simply beyond praise.

This film is also distinguished by the appearance of Dame Joan Sutherland, one of the greatest singers of the 20th Century, in her only non-singing film role. It's a pity that Dame Joan didn't take on more film roles, because she could easily have enjoyed a second career as a character actress.
