I'm confused about the characters....

Film starts out with the Cyclo driver.

Then there is some other dude suddenly there as a second main character. This dude is whoring (?) or dating (?) a girl that may or may not be the Cyclo driver's sister (?).

There is a crippled dude that's always with the lady that may or may not be the Cyclo guy's older sister (?) or mother (?).

I end up having no clue who (Cyclo driver or other guy) was working for who, and how they were related to each other.

Was the old guy at the start the Cyclo driver's father or grandfather? Where did he end up?

I wish I had time to go back and re-watch parts, but I had no spare time unfortunately so I just kept going to the end. Too many characters jumping all over the place, but certainly a good movie. Maybe someone can briefly explain?

the second (main) character is a pimp and a smaller boss inside this crime organisation. the cyclo's sister was also forced to get more money (her brother didnt come back after his "bike" was stolen), so she got a whore, but fell in love with her pimp.

the woman with the physically disabled boy is the cyclos 1st chef, the chef of the bycicle-cab-drivers, not his mother. after he has "lost" his bike, he was in debt by her, cause the bike was not his own. so he was forced to join the criminals. i havent seen the end yet, so i dont know if she is the big boss of this crime syndicate, could be....

his mother died when he was born. his father died in an accident during driving a cyclo.

the very old man at the beginning, those guy who was repairing tires was his grandfather.

the most if this informations about the family you got, when he was at the office to get a credit by the state.

how the grandfather end up?
i dont know if he is appearing again, i have seen just 3/4 of the film,
but we dont get this information, cause the cyclo wasnt allowed to leave his new apartment, except for eating. he had to work for the criminals.
thats also the reason why his sister had not enough money anymore, and was forced to sell her body, but thats just an assumption and not shown in the pictures or told by the story
