This is the one and only movie that ever made me cry. The scene where he dies and then the scene where his mother, crying her eyes out, puts the other boys mother against the wall and gives her that speech. I just couldnt help it.

im not a person who cries alot in movies. but boy o boy watching this movie made me ball. U just cant help but cry in some parts of the movie. The part when he dies, when he talks to dexters mom etc...but by far this is one of the greatest emotional movies to be put together in history of filming. It had the lot and really everyone should watch this movie because it opened my eyes into the world of sick children.

"God this stuff isn't getting to me - the shootings, the knifings, the beatings. Old ladies being bashed in the head for their social security checks. Nah that doesn't bother me. But you know what does bother me? You know what makes me really sick to my stomach? It's watching you stuff your face with those hotdogs! Nobody - I mean nobody puts ketchup on a hot dog!"

This movie was really sad. I cry at every movie I swear. It's soo sad how all those times they faked the little boy dying and then the last time they did that, he really was dead...great movie

This is one of my favorite movies of all time. It is so touching! I have never been so into a story as much as I have been into this one....My tears just started flowing, and flowing....I was actually sobbing!

Great movie! It's something we could watch to remind us of the many blessings we still receive.

by bobby7773338 I watched The Cure tonite and cried quite a a bit during the many tender, poignant parts in this amazing film! Few films made in hollywood today can affect a person so strongly and positively as this one! I find the powerful release of emotions that this film evokes to be very cathartic to the soul and spirit! Please cry till you can,t anymore; then, treasure the joy that this film brings! God bless all :) For another similar film that is also as great and powerful as this one, please view The MIGHTY!

Oh, yes, the shoe in the coffin! I never cried in movies, but this one made me cry! At last I found the dvd in a store! They never show it on TV!

I saw this movie when I was 10. I have never cried so hard during a movie in all my life, and I still haven't cried as hard seeing any other movie.

Though, I was an emotional mess during Patch Adams when the old woman was in the pool of noodles.

Back to The Cure. I was practically inconsolable at the end of the movie.

I just saw the movie today, and I don't usualy cry in movies, but I couldn't stop crying in the ending, when Erik talks with dex's mother, when Dex's mother talks with Erik's mother and, when dex dies, when Erik puts his shoe on the coffin, and takes dex's shoe...it's just, beautiful. i saw this on tv, in a channel called Hollywood, don't know if that exists in the USA but probably does. It's one of my favorits movies.

I also saw the movie today at Hollywood... I couldn't help but cry! It was so sad... Yet so beautiful and well made (which is quite rare, if you ask me)! All in all, a great movie!
