Nudity in the movie?

I have not seen the movie yet, but i have seen almost all the original anime series, and i have a question for those who have seen it? is their as much nudity in the movie as there is in the anime?

I am not advocating it, i am just a little, how should i say, disturbed, if there is, considering that in the cartoon, almost everytime there is a climatic fight, he is either in some sort of speedo or nude.

so if anyone can help me find out, i will take that into consideration before i watch it.

reply

haven't watched the anime but the movie contain some sexuality/nudity, but not that much.

reply

So the blatant nudity is disturbing but the blatant stylistic violence and killing is acceptable? Whatever...there is sex in the film but little actual nudity apart from a pair of mammary glands on show about 3/4 of the way in.

You should watch Urotsukidoji or something along those lines...

reply

Well, Yo is nude in a few scenes, hanging from a chain in one scene and running around in a Sumu diaper thingy...

Why do people find nudity more offensive than violence? I sure know which, out of the two, I'd rather have heavy amounts of in my life.

reply

I just had a thought: because the nudity is real, the violence is not. (How do you fake nudity?).

There isn't as much nudity in the movie as there is in the anime series, in the anime, nearly every main character is running around naked from some point on, which i thought, wasn't disturbing, but more like a soft porn, than like an action anime.

The movie contains some sexual/nudity scenes, but it's kinda o.k. it's not as pointless as it is in the original series, where freeman fights a half naked chick, while he is (half) naked himself almost every episode.

Yoko Shimada in nude this movie, she is very beauty but very short time, pls consider

reply

I'd say it was quite mild, a few breasts and a bit of ass. Mark Dacascos ass is very beautiful. If he kept his clothes on the whole movie you wouldn't see the great tattoos.

Still, bare all . . . hmm, ? not good

reply

It would be sad if someone skipped this movie just because of the nudity. There is some, but not much at all. Only a couple of scenes. Basically you just see Marc Dacascos' ass and YĆ“ko Shimada's breasts (not in the same scene), that's all.

The nudity is the anime is prodigious - I could never really figure out why, other than you get to see Freemans tattoo.

Essentially, all the way through the anime, Freeman, his freinds and his foes are pretty much naked all the way through. The sex is over the top, and probably in the west we dont really get the point.

I dont think it would have gone down well in a Hollywood version of the anime.

Dont forget that Freeman is the morally and sexually ambiguous leader of a Chinese/Japanese crime syndicate that seems to make the bulk of its money from the sale of illegal drugs... So perhaps the idea of nudity when compared to these facts dont really mean that much.
