Gloria

I think the movie is just awful, and so does my wife. Incidentally, my wife played the part of Gloria - the young blonde semi-romantically linked with the "good guy".
You can be certain that this is not the first thing she mentions at get-togethers with new friends!

She grew up in Miami and did some modelling/commercials as a teenager. I'd have to ask her regarding specifics of how she landed this particular movie, but I'm pretty sure it was just that she responded to a local casting call.

Your wife should be proud to be part of such a marvelous masterpiece like this. I've shown this to many people and all of them have a great time watching it and leave feeling refreshed. (I would actually rate this movie a 9.5/10)

I want to personally thank your wife for being part of this amazing motion picture which has changed my life.

Also would you ask her what it is like working with one of the best directors ever: Bruno Mattei. I was depressed for a week when he died ealier this year.

Thanks,
Chaco

Thanks for the compliments, Chaco. I'll pass them along to my wife. She'll no doubt be taken by surprise that there's apparently some sort of cult following for this film which has been torn apart by critics over the years.

We didn't even realize that Bruno has passed away. My wife says he was a funny guy; didn't speak a word of English, so he had a translator on the set. She'd perform a scene, and if he disliked it he would rant and rave, throwing a terrible fit. The translator would turn to my wife and calmly say, "He'd like you to try it again." Hah!

Best to you in the new year...
