Am I the only one...(spoiler)

Who, despite the fact that I rationally know this is not a great movie (but I love it anyways) and despite the fact that I know Amy is an actress in a costume, gets really sad when she leaves at the end?

The whole scene with her flicking his chin and the flowers...it's probably just because I imagine how I would feel if my dog had to just take off like that.
