You are not alone, sir!
A 6.3 rating?? WTF?
How is this movie not one of the greatest cult classics of all time????
----- Made you look! -----
I haven't checked back in here for ages.
This was a cool assassin movie!
What are you guy's favorite parts?
I caught this on cable maybe 96 or 97 and later was able to buy a copy on VHS. It's a quiet movie, very early-mid 90s indie style - understated. It caught me be surprise with its sense of humor. The love story makes it teeter a bit, but it still works overall. Priestley played the part really well, and all the veterans were on par, including the brief appearance by Michael J.
A few of my favorite parts were when Cosmo was getting lectured about messing with the A/C in the car - nothing too major but just a funny thing to come up.
SPOILER -----
I also liked when he shoots the guy with the engineer's hat. It was funny in a sight gag sort of way - hard to put into words, but it just looked funny - the whole concept of the train set seemed funny to me.
Also when he takes care of the ex-boyfriend and she looks out to see what looks like him having a heart-to-heart talk.
There's just a lot of little, minor scenes and I miss these in movies. Like I said, it was so characteristic of indie films from this era. It seems now everything is a lot more overblown and exaggerated, not bad, just not the same quiet type of movies as you get with this flick.
This movie was badass, one of my faves
There's enough feces here to chase a coprophiliac from their desires.
