Guys, stop trying to justify liking this movie

Stop trying to say "It's not a chick flick, it's a satire of chick flicks." No, it's a chick flick, but a good one, be proud of liking it. Same applies to Mean Girls. By the way I'm a guy.

I didn't know this was a thing. I've considered Clueless one of my all-time favorite comedies, and movies in a general sense, since it came out. I can watch this movie at any time, as many times as possible, and always enjoy it.

I think it's a great movie, though I've honestly never viewed it as a 'chick flick'. I mean, I suppose it is, but I've always seen it as a high school drama written by Quentin Tarantino.

I agree. Its definitely a chick flick (or at least a film with a primarily female fanbase). Its also a very well-made an enjoyable one. Nothing wrong with liking this, or any movie really, regardless of your gender.
