Hey, this dog doesn't speak but is the one that always knows what to do and saves the day.
But what impresses me the most is that this little figure, without speaking, only gestures, proyects a great personality.
I'm always going to this films just to see what is Gromit going to do...

According to Nick Park (On Film 2005 last week), Gromit was originally going to be a cat. He was only a dog because a cat was too hard to make with plasticine!

I love the part where he's in the prison and he gets the jigsaw puzzle and he's putting it together without even looking at it! Haha, I don't know why, it just cracks me up every time.

One of the parts I liked most is (in The Wrong Trousers) when Gromit is on the toy train and the track is about to end, so Gromit takes the box with the tracks to build his way ahead. But when I was really amazed was when Gromit was in the sidecar that gets separated from Wallace bike in A Close Shave. I thought "Gromit is out of battle, he won't get out of this one" and suddenly... W O W !!!

I think he's much funnier as a dog than he would have been as a cat. You don't expect dogs to be so calm and dignified.
