it it has this boy who flies to this fantasy kingdom on his bed and ends up meeting the king and his daughter. there is this door that is accidentally opened and this black ooze stuff comes out and sucks up the king so the boy has to try and rescue him from the sludge. if anyone knows this movie it would be great to get some feedback.
share"Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland"! I loved this movie as a child and I bought it on eBay a while ago. It was based off of a weekly comic strip by Winsor McCay, said to be the father of all animation with his famous "Gertie the Dinosaur" tour. I immediately knew you were talking about "Little Nemo" even before entering the thread itself. That was a great childhood movie of mine! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0104740/ What a forgotten classic. As the previous poster said, the movie is (indirectly) based off some Windsor McKay comic strips and early short films. However, the movie is directly based off a little-known video game which was in turn based off McKay's material.
