I saw the documentary before this movie. Both---excellent!

It's been a while since I've seen both the documentary and the movie, but when I saw the movie, it seemed to me very true to the facts, except the documentary didn't focus on the detective.

This is an excellent movie. Spell binding, captivating, intense. It really got to me how alone Stephen Rea was while investigating the horrors that were found. In America, teams work such cases. They help each other, console each other, get feedback from each other. Rea was utterly alone with his theories, his thoughts, his anguish, his stress. The movie depicts that well.

Excellent acting by all. Accents are good. The bleakness of the area is depicted closely to the reality I saw in the documentary.

One of the best movies ever, if you like this kind of subject matter and can tolerate the intensity.
