Why is the DVD SO expensive?
Just been pleased to see The Christmas Box is out on DVD but as a feature with Timepiece. I was looking to buy this for Christmas but can't justify (or afford) the $144 (cheapest) price!
Have to go buy the VHS.

I recorded it from the Inspiration channel this year. I haven't seen it in several years, and didn't know when it would be on again. I have no idea why they don't re-release it on DVD. I've never seen Timepiece, but would like to!
sharewhere have you looked? I got it several years ago on Amazon for $5.99.
If it's that expensive on Amazon, as well, I imagine it's because it hasn't been on the market in a while (in retail), and maybe there are a limited number out there. Supply and demand. Although, even then, $144 for a DVD - even for a two-movie one - is incredibly unrealistic.
Crap, I just looked it up on Amazon.com for my own curiosity and noticed the price for the double feature set is $138.95 NEW and $48.49 USED
I'm glad I got it when I did for $5.99 (not online). The reason it's so expensive is because the DVD is Out-Of-Print/Rare.

I'm watching it on HULU for free. (Well, free with the subscription.)
It was OK but not the best Christmas movie ever.
I could seeing buying the DVD in the bargain bin or for less than $5 used on amazon but not the $50 I saw on eBay.
I know it's crazy isn't it? I got it in a bundle of movies on Christianbook.com It came in a tin box with two DVDs. Each one had 3 movies on it. This was one of them. I got it last year. I can't remember the cost but it was maybe $12.
sharestill have on on VHS, and really glad I kept my VCR's.
