I hope McDonald's paid for this film!
Such blatant, in your face, product placement! It distracted WAY too much - I'll always remember this as Bye Bye Big Mac.

shareAgree...just watching now (God knows why)...it's quite jarring actually, it's so in your face.
shareIt was obviously effective I definitely want some McDonald's right now. Of course I'm nearly 8 months pregnant so that might have something to do with it as well...
shareOn the movie poster it said 'presenting McDonalds' first movie.' So like Joe's Apartment was MTV's first movie, this was mcdonalds'.
shareThis movie is the unofficial sequel to "Mac and Me".
shareI've never really got this argument. So, it's better to have people meet at a generic restaurant in film because you can't stand seeing real companies in them?

Since it was heavily featured in the film, they most likely bankrolled a huge part of production costs.
