when max goes into the store to buy some cigs, snowballs, and a jumbo coke, the cashier just blankly gives him the funniest stare i have ever seen in my life. was this on purpose or an editing mistake, cuz its almost as if the cashier doesnt know that the camera is on. anyone know?

The store clerk was used to selling more healthy fare and was taken aback by Stern's order.
