Underrated?!?!

Who else thinks Bushwhacked is one of the most underrated movies of all time?

reply

Well, not really. It's a fun movie but it ends up being too childish for its own good. Deserved a better DVD. But I'm just happy with the widescreen presentation.

Yes this film is truely underrated. I liked Daniel Stern in Home Alone 1&2. I absolutely love him in this movie. He takes comedy to the extreme. This is by far the greatest, if not the best, comedy of the 20th Century.

definitely an under-rated movie. Spider rules! all of the acting was great, even the kids. A great concept that was done very well in this film, hilarious one-liner after hilarious one-liner for the first half, and edge-of-your seat adventure for the second.

Rarely anymore do you see this kind of movie: a film with no offensive material, great comedy, and that actually can be described as "fun for the whole family"!

This movie is great!! Definitely underrated. Daniel Stern is very good in this movie. I remember watching this movie all the time grwoing up. It is very funny. I just ordered it online and overstock said it was fullscreen. Now that I know it is in widescreen, I'm happy! thanks Gator_MacReady!

This movie is great. Take it for what it is, a kids movie that everyone should be able to enjoy. There are always some jerks that can accept; and even more pathetic cant understand that.

i first saw this movie when i came out in '95, i was in the 3rd grade. i've been a fan of daniel stern since i say him as Marv oppostie Keven MacAlister (Culkin) and his crime buddy Harry (joe perci). i'm now nearly in my 20's and can still watch this film over and over and laugh my head off @ Stern's charater and the guttless boy scouts. Bushwaked is one of my favorite "kid comedies" it's a shame it never got the attention it deserved.
the only shame i have against it is the script, if Spider could have been more ruthless against the kids it would have been funny. more corse language was needed, some S**t's and *beep* were needed. it could have been aimed at a audience a little older and been alot more funnier but i still like it as it is...Daniel Stern (one of my all-time favorites)

Underrated...Definitely. I just saw this today. I remember wanting to see it in 95 when it came out, but I never got to. I kind of forgot about it until last year. I found out that someone on my dorm floor had it, so I borrowed the DVD and watched it. At first it wasn't that great, but it got better as it went. Really entertaining, and Stern's facial expressions are hilarious. Not to mention for a kids' movie like this, the score is actually pretty good.

Overall, an entertaining movie, such a shame it didn't get as much attention as it deserved.

I saw this movie for the first time when I was younger and have not seen it really since it first opened 15 years ago...I turned it on a few hours ago and I have to say that I was pretty impressed at how it was not nearly as stupid as most of the crap that was released as "kids/family" movies back then or even today. I have seen thousands of movies and I have to say that this one was not bad at all...certainly not an oscar winner lol...but for what it was, it was good.

reply

Definetely underrated, great twist too. Stern was hilarious as hell in here.
