imdb says that it was PG-13 and then it was edited for re-rating and then rated PG. Also HBO before the movie is shown it says PG-13. did it go to theater PG-13 ? When was it re-rated the dvd says PG.

I disagree with the above statement. I find it to be the opposite. How many G-rated movies come out these days? America has become a PC-thug country.

Back to topic, I don't know what's been edited out of Bushwhacked though I would like to. Notice how it said re-edited version and not re-rated.

Yes, BUSHWHACKED was released to theaters with the PG-13 rating. I remember watching this at the movies in 1995. This original version of BUSHWHACKED was originally released on home video in January of 1996 with the PG-13 rating. I imagine that this movie was edited sometime around 2000 and re-rated PG so that 20th Century Fox could reissue this in their "Family Favorites" series. This edited PG version was released on DVD sometime around 2002. The original PG-13 has still yet to surface on DVD, but I don't think the studio will go to that much trouble because this movie was a flop upon its theatrical release.

I think the barbie scene and f bomb. I think those are one of the reasons why it got the PG-13 rated. I might be wrong. That's only guess. I did not see the PG rated version.
