Does anyone remember anything from the time this film was made? The film has shot from the lakes and the town centre, etc, etc. But I don't really remember if there was much in the way of disburbances to the town.

shareI worked on the film in stevenage, the guy who made the film went to a local school. He used part of my nans garden is the first clip and I remember them trashing quite alot of stuff, flowers etc! I was also a bar maid in the club scence that was held at Beaches!!! Now that was a cool memory!
shareI was an extra in the market scene. I remember it being pretty chaotic, with no-one shouting 'action', 'cut' or whatever. None of us knew when we were supposed to start being in character.
I never understood the ban on wearing anything green, either.
The film itself turned out to be quite good, though my bit was cut. Typical!
I remember stories in the local press that the council would clean up graffiti and rubbish in areas where filming was due to take place, only for the film makers to return them to their authentic state for the cameras.. o_O
I had friends who lived around Raleigh Cresent and Drakes Drive, it was pretty weird seeing that area in a movie. The 1967 film 'Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush' had many scenes in the same area too, oddly enough.
I seem to recall that some of the scenes would jump from Stevenage to Harlow town centres, as a character turned a corner. Bit disconcerting that..
