YOu might want to try 1947 Earth, though it's a little less Bollywood.

These movies are very good thought provoking movies . and avoid the retarded formulae of typical indian movies .

Check out a film called Zakhm, starring Ajay Devgan and Pooja Bhatt. Amazing film, one of the best ones I have seen in a very long time from Bollywood.

If you liked Bombay than you;ll love Zakhm!
