This Movie is great

This movie surprised me like XXXX, it started out as a silly dance-romance and ´turned into a powerful drama, great screenplay!

Simply the best ever Indian movie and I agve it 10/10 easily. It's so touching and shaking that you'll need therapy afterwards

I agree.

Saw it again the other night.

Moved me as much as the first time.

MANISHA here is just a revelation. Beautiful, touching, and she gives a superb performance.

ARVIND SWAMY was excellent as well.

The score is priceless and the KEHNA HI KYA stands as one of A.R. REHMAN's all-time great compositions...

Wonderful film all-around.

it didn't surprise me when I first saw it. It shocked me. I still remember how we went through a heavy security to watch this film as it was very controversial at that time. 5 minutes into the film and it was clear that something different something extraordinary is happening. I don't agree with your 'silly. dance romance thing. Initial two songs were not only great and very well picturised, they also set the story in motion. 1o minutes spent on these two songs have done what 30 minutes would have taken without them.the film excels in every department. script, music, background score (also by rahman), amazing camera energy by rajiv manon, art direction. and the best part was the ending. Not much preaching. Again superior use of a song which brought tears in eyes. for me it is one of the very best movies coming from India and I also give it a 10/10.
