yea i like Ewan McGregor and I thought he was really cute in this, but if youre not a big fan, I would suggest renting something else. It's good, but I don't know if it's hardly worth the $3 if you're not into surfing movies.

I actually think Chloe, Catherine Zeta-Jones' character in the film is one of the best performances she's ever given. I don't want to get your hopes too high, but I thought there were moments of real resonance between her and sean pertwee's character. Don't expect the movie to be the cure for cancer, and you should do fine. I think it's definitley worth a watch.

Sean Pertwee is flinching & wincing when Catherine's trying to SEDUCE him in that one scene! What was he, gay? If CJZ was going to have her way with me, by all means, I'd let her!
This was one of both her's & Ewan's first movies, and I'm sure they avoid putting this one on their resumes at all costs!

shareRight...also...do you know surfers at all? For example, Kelly Slater is now dating Giselle Bundchen, one of the most beautiful women in the world...certainly equal to Zeta. If the surf is up, a guy like Kelly doesn't care if his girlfriend is in the mood, no matter how gorgeous, they're going to go catch that wave...that's how surfers' priorities are.
I say there was resonance because they both realized that they had to make choices about what was most important in their lives.
It's good because of Ewan and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Not a bad movie, but nothing real special. If Catherine is your idol, be sure to see it. She's beautiful in this one. You can rent from Netflix.com
shareThe only reason I bought the movie was because I am a Ewan Mcgregor fan. The movie was ok. Ewan was great, but played a goofy part. When his character became a bit more serious, it was much better. If you like some of the actors, then it's worth your time to watch it. This MOVIE was not really up to Ewan's standard of excellence, but then it was over 10 years ago. He did however, have many wonderful performances back then. Always room for a so so MOVIE in ones career. Ewan's performance has always been GREAT.

shareIt was the best roll ever for Catherine Zeta-Jones. She was beautiful and played a great character. Since Blue Juice, she tries too hard to be something she's not. She always wears tons of makeup and plays roles that don't suit her well. I think she aged prematurely after marrying Michael Douglas.
