Seriously! I know what you mean! I feel like it was only a few years ago that I had last seen it before I finally got the DVD for my birthday yesterday. :)

Lsten LordSulkine,

The Big Green is a somewhat good movie to points of view that me and others see it at. You see the main idea of the movie is showing how in one town where the children feel like nothing but loosers because of how they are not doing anything good in school are approached by a new teacher who finds a way with the help of the local law man to get the children into something that puts the town back on the map. You see that sheriff on the movie as he says was once a football champion and the combination of his knowlege on how to kick a ball and that Brittish teacher's knowlege on soccer enables the two of them to take a group of children with no sports skills and turn them into state champions. Plus it also shows how some people can get jealous when new talent arrives because that other coach of that Kights team does things to try to make those kids loose their new friend who helped them learn some on the sport to where he would be able to win again. Then his plan backfires when the law man arrives with the boy and his mother and points out how he is going to be the mother's sponsor and get her legal citizenship. So what I am saying is this movie tells a story how there can be a small town that most of a state has forgotten about over the years and then when certain people arrive and get together on a plan they can do something that puts the town back on the map again. Several of us who like this movie feel that since it has only been 12 years since this movie was made they should make a sequel with the same cast members showing all the children who made the soccer team has grown and become married and some of them that were the oldest have young ones around 2 or 3 years old. They could have it to where they have a class reuinion and at the same time the others who made up that knights team are having a class reunion but have it to where Jay Huffer Sr. and Tom Palmer the sherriff bump into eachother and it causes a challenge of where Huffer wants revenge over what happened years ago destroying his perfect record of back to back wins of that trophy and have it to where the two teams have to do another Soccer game and have it to where the ones who have young children and their spouses can see them playing the game. Then have it of course after all this time that goalie boy Larry has one of his crazy visions again of seeing Jay Huffer Jr. as a Knight in chome plated armour but have it to where when Jay approaches Larry he sees instead of an Indian he would see a military trooper with a bazooka. That would be a good idea for a sequel movie.

NOW LOOK HERE!! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT CALLING ME AN IDIOT! Nobody is allowed to call me that and i have to say you are lucky we do not live in the same neihborhood because since you are acting bull headed like that knights coach I would have to do to you just like the green team did him! I would make you kiss a goat! It is people like you who are causing these movie people to put all this garbage on tv instead of doing decent family shows like this movie!

I love this movie...although I doubt a sequel would work. I mean really...who's gonna remember this movie? Not many people
