Most Underrated Kids Movie?

No fancy soccer scenes.

The soccer coaching and practices looked realistic.

The really good soccer player was actually really good at soccer in real life.

The parents looked and acted like parents.

The antagonist wasn't too much of a jerk (hey, he honored the bet).

Everyone looked like they were really having fun when they were supposed to.

Steve Guttenberg and Olivia d'Abo had a natural chemistry but didn't overdo the romance.

And the music was awesome!

What more could you ask for?

It's one of my favorites. I still watch it several times a year. I'm right in the middle of making my friend's seven-year-old daughter watch it and she's LOVING it. Of course I'm biased, but I think all the sports movies from my generation were the best kids' movies. There's this, Little Giants, Angels in the Outfield, the Mighty Ducks trilogy, The Sandlot, Little Big League, Rookie of the Year, etc.
