Very good movie, for what it is...made for TV doesn't normally fare well when it comes to biographies, but this is one of the better ones.
With the exception of the "actress" playing Patsy Cline. My GOD, was this the BEST of the candidates? TERRIBLE portrayal of Ms Cline!!!
It is a great TV movie and Michele Lee was perfect as Dottie. I agree that the lady who played Patsy Cline was horrible.

I don't even remember the Patsy Cline segment from the movie, guess I'll have to rewatch it sometime, must have not been particularly good. I thought the movie was ok, one thing I didn't like was they made it look like Dottie posed nude for Oui magazine when it was simply cheesecake photos (albeit racy ones) that could have easily been published in Us Weekly or People. And having her brag on her sex appeal, I can't see Dottie talking like that, she was pretty modest. One thing I found kind of amusing is the actors who played her husbands were a lot better looking than the real ones.
