Was Tom Cruise considered for the role of Batman in this film since he was married to Nicole Kidman at the time and he was the perfect age and look for the character? I imagine his Bruce Wayne would look similar to how he appears in the movie Eyes Wide Shut since he plays a rich guy in that movie (also starring Kidman). Also you would get more “Batman and Robin are gay” jokes since some believe Tom Cruise secretly is gay.

shareI do wonder if people would be too concerned about Tom Cruise's height to play Batman. Remember the big stink that was caused when he was cast as Jack Reacher, who is in the books, described as at least being 6'5 ft.? Michael Keaton himself, was already a tad, on the smaller side (I think that he's in real life, about 5'9), where as Bruce Wayne in the comics, is said to be 6'2.
