Why so much discussion over this ho-hum movie?
In the grand scheme of superhero movies....this one is a C-. Why are people wasting time talking about it?

shareBecause it's not a D or an F.
shareI like it because it's one of the funniest superhero movies, and one of the gayest!
But that's just me.
Because it's Batman, which is probably the #2'subject (behind Star Wars) for geeks to talk about on the internet.
shareI think it's boring as well. HOWEVER...it's arguably a perfect time capsule of where pop culture was in 1995, where the actors involved were in their careers, and for that reason, it's kind of interesting.
shareIt's my favorite Batman movie and actually feels like a Batman comic coming to life. I think I'm the only person in the world who feels that way.
shareIt's far from my favourite, but I do like (and own) it. I thought Kilmer was a great Batman and a very good Bruce Wayne.
shareIt's far from my favorite Batman movie but I liked it too.
It was very well received when it came out. They really wanted a lighter tone compared to Batman Returns.
Batman&Robin gave this film a bad reputation by lumping them together because the latter took the lighter tone and camp way too far.
Forever isn't a great film, but it's fun.
It also really the only movie of the Burton/Schumacher series that examines the physiological aspects of Bruce.
I was a kid when it came out and it was big time. And they don't make them like they used to.
