Burtons BF cast

(based on rumours at the time when burton was attached to direct, and ones that had worked/would go on to work with burton and ones that just seem like they'd fit in a burton movie)

Keaton/Batman
Bill Murray/Two Face
Robin Williams/Riddler
Rene Russo/Chase
Joaquin Phoenix/Robin

Damn, Williams as the Riddler would had been awesome.

Why not simply keep Billy Dee Williams as Two Face for the sake of continuity? I also wonder how Michael Keaton's Batman would've interacted with Nicole Kidman still in the role as Chase Meridian. They did, two years prior to Batman Forever, co-star together as husband and wife in a movie called My Life.

Ideally it would be BDW but think the studio wanted a bigger name for BF (then again had burton directed maybe hed have kept BDW)

Had forgotten about that movie Keaton and Kidman did. but on the BF trivia it states Russo was cast when Burton was going to direct but when Kilmer took over was deemed too old. Also that JS wanted to use Kidman for poison ivy but decided to save that character for next film (so this why I put her as poison ivy in the Burton B&R cast)

Robin Williams as Edward Nigma would have been perfect! Joaquin Phoenix looked a little nerdy back then, I just can't see him as Robin, but Russo was a total babe, she'd of been awesome in scenes with Keaton.

Not too sure about Murray.

People were trying to project Williams as the Riddler since the franchise rebooted in 1989. I often wonder if Williams went out of his way to not appear as the Riddler due to constant buzz saying that he should. Some people just do not like to be told what to do. At the same time I think he was trying to get as far away from pop culture as possible to advance his career in general.
