Why are Kilmer and Kidman so uncharismatic?

I love this movie! It´s my childhood! I was 5 when it came out! OK? Ok.

But looking back at performances...Two Hollywood powerhouses like Kilmer and Kidman fall flat compared to even bigger names...Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones...those two are obviously having so much fun(even though behind the scenes these two had alleged feud...ALLEGEDLY!)

But still...well Kidman is beautiful! So much! OMG...but cold...but at least she is beautiful...bu then there´s Kilmer and he is really uncharismatic in this movie...
AND I doubt it is his doing...I love him though...very underrated actor...

I love Kilmer's Batman, I don't find him uncharismatic at all. Kidman on the other hand, I can take her or leave her.

All for a box of chocolates...

I think that's the way the dark Bruce Wayne is. He's a very depressed person.

Dr. Meridian is a cool psychiatrist.

Makes sense to me.

And Nicole is unbelievably beautiful in this movie. She's always been a beauty.

Nicole is a beauty, but in this movie, geez she was scorching in every scene she was in. I don't know if she has ever looked as red hot as she does in this. Every.Single.Scene.

Well Kilmer can't act to save his life and Kidman was just there to be eye candy.

I know, its like Val didn't want to be there. Nicole Kidman was just a weird choice, and made no sense in thus film. I forget its her but not in a good way, she just phoned the whole thing in like she just said you know what screw it I got paid already, same with kilmer.

Tommy lee Jones irritated to no end, and that laugh enough said. Jim carrey was actually great he made sense, two face was not two fave in this film, he was a horrible jumping idiot/joker ripoff. He sucked big time.

Chris o Donnell was good, I actually liked him as robin, sad that batman and robin was a disaster.

Chris ODonnell and Michael Gough were the only actors who I thought did a half-way decent job.
