shareI always thought this was pretty funny, though I can't say it's my favourite:
Tony: I'm going, we're going.
Wynn: *beep* drama queen!
I haven't seen this in a while so forgive me for not remembering character names.
- The tough guy is angry when he sees that the drummer's sister is the woman who got him fired. The drummer tries to placate him by explaining that this is typical of his sister and given the time she'll probably have everyone in town fired.
- I love it when they're brainstorming band names. Every time I see this movie I have to see this sequence. Can anyone post all the possible names they propose ?
- They decide to call themselves Circus Monkey and have a disastrous gig. Afterwards at a donut shop they tell themselves that it doesn't matter -- no one will remember anyway. At that exact moment someone off camera yells " Circus Monkey sucks ! " -- the tough guy chases after him.
Best line in the movie:
"You couldn't get a blowjob from a dead cat. You're messing with fire, boy! You see that? FIRE!" -Chester
"Are you ready for a little... Spittle?"
I just love the way the guy sounds when he says it. Then it gets even better, cuz you get to see a guy who looks like Andy Dick singing crazy metal vocals. I love that scene.

Just acouple of frat boys. The guy they were chasing was Eric Elwood. I've heard he's a scum bag.
Its the I've heard he's a scum bag that kills me. Who talks like that? Excellent line. My brother use it a refer to it almost daily.

Linus is talking to Wynn as he's fishing and Wynn summarises the band. Linus asks him about himself.
"Me? I'm normal. I'm the normal one!"
Said in such a tone of disbelief. Hilarious.
Wynn, at the radio interview after Eric gets mad at Charlie:
" 'Tool' ... harsh. Yet appropriate."
