Well said, this movie is pure magic in that repect. My drama teacher refers to it as "the poor mans Almost Famous." I think that pretty much sums it up.

I bought it from him , but make sure your player can play PAL , most cheap dvd players you find at walmart should have no problem converting also the disc is REGION 3 .

I love Bandwagon too. I think people should definitely make a dvd with at least a featurette and a commentary on it. Who can we contact about getting a Bandwagon made? I'll try the Ebay feature very soon.

The listing's title is: "BANDWAGON (1996) Kevin Corrigan garage band - rare dvd." Please note, this is a PAL-format, Region 3 release and will not play on standard North American DVD players.

in the US it was put out on VHS (out of print, like the soundtrack) but never on DVD. they should consider a reissue. this movie seems to have a following.

BUY the Thailand DVD REG 3 PAL
good quality seems to be sourced from TV BETA TAPE ( thats what they use for TV stations when showing movies)Very very good quality.

my only gripe is thats its full frame and no extras.
where-else are you going to find it on DVD ???

This is my favorite movie. I've got the vhs and it suits me fine. My girlfriend got it for me a couple of Christmas's ago. I'm aslo a proud owner of the soundtrack. Rockin' soundtrack. If you have the means, I highly reccomend picking one up.

Amazon has begun offering a manufacture on demand DVD of Band Wagon. From one review of it (The DVD), it seems there are no extras or a menu even, but the picture quality is supposedly pretty good and the movie plays well.
