This probably is the most underrated movie ever

This movie is pure, unrefined genious. Ever since I saw it 4 years ago, I've never seen anything like it. It is also a monument of how the "movie industry" is in fact an industry - forcing tones of crap down our throats, never giving us a chance to choose on our own. If this movie had had a big-ass budget and a star cast, it would have been a mind-boggling success. Instead it has descended into oblivion. It's also quite sad that director and writter John Schultz did in fact get the chance to work on a few big hollywood project all of which turned out to be pure crap.

To all fan of Bandwagon: please post here, I just want to see how many of us are there. thanks!

I agree this movie is great. I never though I would adore such a quirky cast of characters. It's a shame Bandwagon is not released on DVD, instead the most ridiculous and inane "reality" tv shows and movies are readily released to DVD.

I saw this movie a few years back...and totally loved it.
At that time i didnt even play the guitar. I think this definitely was part of my inspiration to learn (I eventually did learn a bit)
I have been looking for this movie on the net for atleast 3 years now, with no luck. On amazon only the VHS tapes are available and that too quite expensive.
No DVD :(((.
I hope seriously the DVD is realeased.

Everyone I have ever shown this movie to has enjoyed it, some have even loved it. I was going through a similar experience with a band right around the time I saw the movie for the first time, (in Norfolk, Va, one of the cities listed on the Circus Monkey tour shirts). It really hits home for me. I even have a framed copy of the movie poster on my living room wall,(hoping to meet Doug MacMillan at a Connells show to get it signed).
It's a tragedy that this film is not on DVD. We should find an e-mail address for John Schultz, or whoever owns the rights to this movie and bombard them with e-mails begging for it's release on DVD calling ourselves the "Circus Monkey Army". It's available on DVD in Thailand, but not the good ole USA? What's wrong with this picture? THIS IS THE GREATEST BAND MOVIE EVER!!!!!!
Let's rise together and show them we have a voice. Besides, my VHS copy will not live much longer.
