Where are his parents? How did he survive on his own?

If his mother is a wolf, what is he doing in a human settlement? How did he get there? Why isn't he out in the wild, doing wolf stuff?

Also, why didn't anyone take him in? Yeah, I get that it's dangerous to let a wolf live in your house, but surely it's better than allowing him to just hang out and wander around town unsupervised? He really should be in a home.

And he's not aggressive at all. He doesn't seem to have a prey drive-notice that he never attacked that duck he hangs around with. And the other dogs bully him. He's much too docile to make it on his own-he would starve to death due to his lack of prey drive, or get killed by another animal. There is no way that a sweet little doggy like that would survive without human protection. The first wolves who were domesticated were the sweet little doggies who couldn't make it in the wild in the first place!
