I was surprised to find a polish name in the cast, after a bit of searching I found out that the iranian actress Anna Afkhami(Borkowska) who played the role of the old lady, is one of hundreds of thousands of polish refugees who got out from the Soviet Gulags during WWII, out of which only a small portion settled in Iran permanently.
