Very underrated film.

The cast is fantastic and the story is very intruiging. This film has been overlooked since it came out. I, for one, recommend it. I liked watching the performances by Fishburne and Langella, two greats.

I liked it also there was a scene with frank langella where he is fishing and he says a couple of lines in there that i always disturbed me

Best Bad company ever, yeah I was pulled in by the web of deceit that ran throughout this movie.

I agree. It is actually one of my favorite neo-noirs.

A nasty piece of work and I say that in the best sense of the term. I watched BC for the first time in almost twenty years today and I was even more engrossed than I was the first time I saw it. The rating it has on this site is a crime but c'est la vie because all the actors here (special kudos to Gia Carides) are on their game to serve a script which tells it plot coolly without any pyrotechnics that are fun in other heist/crime/double cross movies but can be cliched at times. BC is a great outlier to that norm and I would wholeheartedly put it up there with contemporaries like THE USUAL SUSPECTS and RESERVOIR DOGS. Yeah, it just that damn good.

'Cause I'm Black you think I did it?

Nice i'll have to try to find this movie somewhere.

reply

It's got the right attitude. It's nihilistic and cynical.
