No one else noticed the edits from the theatrical release?

In the theatrical release during the final car chase between the Porsche and the Cobra, at one point you see the Porsche close on the Cobra. Then, the Cobra takes off again. Martin Lawrence says, "His car is faster." Will Smith replies, "This car is faster. This is the fastest *beep* car."

Whenever I've seen this movie again, be it uncut on movie channels, DVD, or cable TV, the "his car is faster" line is missing along with about 5-7 seconds of the car chase. Other shots/lines in this sequence have been moved around.

PLEASE tell me I'm not the only one who knows this!!

Yeah, I just watched the blu-ray and that scene was in there.

Saw it in the theater. Don't remember.

I've seen it in theaters. I don't remember it happening that way, but I was young. However, the music that goes along with the scene has an extra part to it when it is played in commercials. One trailer that has the extended version of the cobra car chase is The Rock. Another trailer that has the same extension is Money Train.

In the bootleg score, the track is the same as it is heard in the post theatrical versions.
