But they proceed to commit more murders and crimes in broad day light with a bunch of other witnesses... while trying to murder her? It makes no sense.

shareAlso remember at the end of the film they take her hostage...even though they want to kill her...there was a lot of good action in the movie at least.
shareIt doesn't matter what people witnessed the gunmen doing in the streets, because all they could do is ID the suspects and that's useless since the police already know who they are. Julie is the only witness they're worried about because she knows enough information to potentially blow their entire operation. They decided ultimately that she would be more valuable to them as a hostage.
shareThat makes no sense. Why would those witnesses be useless?? People have been locked away because of witness testimonies. Hence why they came after Julie.....
