This movie disappointed me. It wasn't hardly anything like the books. It was gay and Logan's southern accent was awful. It also didn't feel like there was a bond between the girls. They were all most likely jealous of each other. Meow! I will stick to the books!

The movie wasn't THAT bad Lol! You should never compare a book and a movie for which is better. Books allow you to create your own images, so how you've created BBSC to be, the movie won't hold that image you created.

I adored the books, but I enjoyed the movie (and even the TV series) too. I wasn't expecting, and did not receive, perfection...but they were still a lot of fun and well worth watching. I'd have stayed truer to the books myself, and "gay" is no way to describe the movie, especially since it's clearly meant as a derogatory term. Logan's accent didn't really bother me, and the girls' characterization was pretty much good by me; I could feel the kind of friendship that they have.
