can anyone help me?

I've been searching around on the net trying to find this movie on dvd, but i can only find it on dvd's only suitable for region 1 dvd players. Since i live in the uk, i need it in region 2 - but can't find it!!
Does anyone know where i can get a region 2 copy from?

reply

Go to amazon.com I looked it up and most of the sellers have international shipping:D I hope this helps!

Even though they ship to uk etc, because it's region 1 dvd - it won't play on our dvd players or anything else. I can't find a region 2 dvd of it to save my life!! Thankyou for your reply though

Many region 2 players can be hacked to make them region-free. Just check the make of your player on the internet. Often the hack is as simple as typing in a code with your remote.

Just to add to what Ozymandias and Dragon-25 said, for region 1 DVDs you also need to make sure that either your TV can accept NTSC signals (most can these days), or that your DVD player can output NTSC as PAL (again, most can these days).

Did you ever find a region 2 DVD? I'm having problems finding one too. I've tried all the suggestions... but nothing!

I am in the UK too, have you checked your DVD player? Just that many players which are sold in the UK are actually region free/multi-regional even the cheaper ones. Some UK players can play region 4 as well as region 2 (as region 4 is on the PAL system too) if yours will then you can get it from here http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/228509. A good way to look for DVDs available to the UK is to use http://www.kelkoo.co.uk. A site which is usually a lot cheaper than Amazon is http://www.play.com, and if you don't mind your DVDs having a Spanish case you can get good deals from http://www.dvdgo.com most of the DVDs there have the original soundtracks and you can switch off the Spanish subtitles, they are all either region 2 or region 0. Hope that helps .

Also, you may be able to play it on your computer. I can switch my computer to whatever region I like, so I keep it on a different one than my DVD player. Though I finally did buy a true region-free player, since even in the US I can't get all DVDs in Region 1. It cost more, but I'm very happy I did that.
