Loved this film.

Well, thus this completes my quest to watch all things Alan Rickman!! And own them, if I can:) I got so lucky finding a copy of this film on Hastings.com.
Anyways, I loved this film. I agree with most posts, that this is NOT a comedy. This is a tragic, dark story with a multitude of layers. I found it to be a disturbing metaphor for innocwnce(or the loss of it) and depravity and the fine line that is often blurred.
I'll admit, I went into this with no knowledge of the ending, only that it was profound. To say I was floored, is an understatement! I'm happy to have been able to add this little gem to my Alan Rickman library:)
