i just caught this movie one late night and enjoyed it but unfortunately i fell asleep at the last part after antonia's granddaughter gave birth to a girl with simon. Don't get me wrong i enjoyed the movie but i guess it was 4 in the morning my eyes had to rest. Could anyone please tell me how the movie ended. I don't care if it's going to spoil it for me i might not be able to watch it again. Thank you.

Teh greatgrandaughter is older in the end - like 8? and she
can see everyone whose past away in the end as she overlooks
the farm.
Its a very beautoful and serene ending - one of the best closures
on film ever.
I don't mind being torn up or left perplexed or even confounded but
a closure to a film rarely works without being cheesy and easy
way out - Antonia's Line was neither cheesy nor easy - it was thoughtful
and very spiritual.
My favorite film along with Time Bandits.
