Do any of you mocking this and saying it’s not like the real Annie have any idea what you are talking about? In the original Annie comics she had lots of adventures and during the ww2 years she was fighting Nazis. So when you say this Annie movie is not the REAL Annie bare in mind Annie never sang and danced in the comics
shareWell, I've been in the musical Annie three times. The first time as Artie (a Hoovervillian), the second as Al the Apple Seller, Jimmy Johnson and Louise Howe, and the third time (which was my worst time doing it, despite getting my dream role of the musical) as Rooster and Bert Healy.
So despite having never read the comics, I'm pretty familiar with it as the cast and crew discussed it a lot.
The first time I did the show, our Warbucks had hair.
And the third time, our Warbucks was played by a girl. Actually, the third time I did it, everyone in the show was played by females aside from me. I was the only male in the show.
