After Maggie confessed to the affair, she should have demanded to see Holloway personally, apologized to him for lying at the trial, and told him she admitted the truth. But I imagine they would have found some way to prevent this as well.

True that. Even if she did I believe they were intent on killing him anyway just because she had been with him.

Was kill her lying husband in his sleep. I was so disgusted by this travesty of justice that I became physically ill. Both she and her husband are as guilty of murdering an innocent man as if they had put the noose around him themselves. I am against the death penalty mainly for the reason that you can't unhang a man who has been executed. But these people should have paid that price for taking this man's life.
Why anybody would want to willingly fight for a country that promotes these kinds of values and injustice is absolutely beyond me.
