Too bad the title is misleading...

I enjoyed this movie a lot, but I was expecting it to be a combination of both books based on the characters. I suppose that would be difficult to do, and Huckleberry Finn has never had a successful film adaptation, but it's still a great book, in my opinion a much better novel than Tom Sawyer.

Unfortunately, I doubt that they'll ever do a good adaptation of Huckleberry Finn, because it is always considered too offensive and mature to turn into a kids' movie, but since it's based on kids, Hollywood expects adults wouldn't watch it.

At least I would give it a chance.

I THOUGHT THE ADVENTURES OF HUCK FINN(1992) WITH ELIJAH WOOD WAS GOOD THOUGH:)

I also like The Adventures of Huck Finn with Elijah Wood, even though it strays quite a bit from the novel. There really hasn't been a great adaption of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, and I'm surprised that there hasn't been an attempt in 13-14 years.

I think with the whole thing with Jim, adapting Huck Finn faithfully now would be like re-making Gone With the Wind... you had it right; it's too offensive.

...and in conclusion, I would like to say that James Dean and Leo Gorcey are very hot.

I gues maybe since huck finn isn't quite as well known as tom sawyer... but who knows...

i think the title serves well since its about both the boys coming together.

"Matt Damon"
