Brad Renfro was found dead in his home in California earlier today. His cause of death has not yet been identified. He was 25 years old.

Wow! I simply can't believe it! I thought this post was a joke, until I saw it confirmed on Wikipedia. Man that sucks--what a great actor.
Just an interesting note--but he is, to the best of my knowledge, the fourth actor who's worked with filmmaker Larry Clark to die (the other three are Justin Pierce, Harold Hunter, and Sajan Baghat--all three who starred in "Kids."

Was his cause of death ever revealed? I'm assuming he O.D.'d, but I've never been a fan, so I don't really know much about him other than that he was into drugs.
Sad that he's gone though, I liked him in this movie, the Cure, The Client and Apt Pupil. Oh, and his bit part in the Jacket.

But generally when a drug using 25 year old dies of "unknown" causes, the first thing that comes to mind is that he O.D.
